This page features pickguards for Rickenbacker Basses. Adolf Rickenbacker was born in 1887. He left his native Switzerland & eventually moved to Los Angeles, CA in 1918. The company, formed in 1925, was one of the first in the electric guitar business. The company is still active today & owes its fame to The Beatles, who used Rickenbacker instruments throughout their career. No other company in the entire music business offers the kind of service you can get from Rickenbacker; just call their office & see for yourself! Most Rickenbacker instruments were originally fitted with plexiglass pickguards, either "milk white', black, or clear with gold lacquer on the back, yielding a metallic gold pickguard. We offer all three types as well as our full list of colors shown in the link below.
Although they only make a few different models of bass, the pickguards vary considerably, especially in the location of the neck pickup, controls, & screw holes. If you want a pickguard that will match up to your bass exactly, you will need to send in a tracing or the original pickguard that came with your guitar for a guaranteed fit.
