offset Lipsticks

The shape of the guard

is the same as a regular

Strat, but with the

Chandler or Danelectro

Lipsticks, which are over

3" long, the pickups are

not centered under the

strings; they stick out

further on the treble

side than on the bass,

but you don't have to

redrill the screw holes

in the body.

PG 315: Am. Std. Strat -

centered Lipsticks

We made the bass ,side

of the pickguard wider

so we could center the

long lipsticks, but you

have to redrill the screw

holes in the body.

This page features pickguards for some of the newer Strat models. Although less valuable than the original vintage Strats, many of the guitars below are excellent working guitars with great features.

Some of these Fender models are rare & difficult to come by or find info on, so we are glad to be able to make these unusual Strat versions available. One of the most popular of these guitars is the Strat Ultra. Our friends at Xhefri's Guitars have a lot of info and accessories for these and other Fender Strats, also you can check with Lace Music, manufacturers of the famous Lace Sensor pickups. For info on some of the more unusual Strats or other limited production Fenders, the Strat Talk discussion page is a great resource.

These guitars are easily modified for different pickups & wiring by simply changing the pickguard. We can usually substitute different pickups in any position, leave out pickups or controls, etc. We can start with one model, add a pickup from another model, eliminate a knob that is in the player's way...pretty much whatever you need! Many of the mods can be done at no extra charge, like leaving out pickups, left-hand pickguards, and more. Feel free to contact us about your dream Strat...you don't play like everybody else and your guitar doesn't have to sound like everybody elses!
