The Gibson SG guitars started as part of the Les Paul family, but quickly became Gibson's most popular solidbody as the original Les Paul styles were discontinued in the early 1960s. The SG guitars carried the Les Paul name into 1963. There are many styles & reissues of SG guitars, please email us a picture or contact us if you have any questions. When Alice Cooper's "Love It To Death" came out in 1972, the back cover featured a cool band pic with SGs ready for action! Founding band member Glen Buxton had that killer white Custom...thanks Jeremy Bailey for reminding us how great your uncle Glen was!
